Frameworks

The widget is plain HTML + one script, so it drops into any stack. In React or other SPA frameworks, render the <div class="epochtime-widget"> and load widget.js once (e.g. in your document head or a useEffect). In Markdown that allows raw HTML (many static-site generators and GitHub Pages), paste the snippet directly.

What is a Unix timestamp?

A Unix timestamp (epoch time) is the number of seconds elapsed since 00:00:00 UTC on 1 January 1970. It is timezone-independent and used everywhere in programming.
